Dos Toros Taqueria

this guy Joe who wrote a bad review must be from the competition. I've eaten there many times and have taken friends. From the quick service to the friendly staff this place rocks. The steak is the best tasting of all the taquerias in nyc.All the other menu items are great as well and they don't skimp on the portions so it's a great value as well. The guac and chips are the best.

The meat is always burned/charred. You can watch them cook it on the back grill. The chicken is always blackened. Recommend the steak instead. And as for the guacamole? It's like $2+ for a scoop of guacamole in your plate or burrito/quesadilla. And if you don't order the guac (which by the way they don't tell you is extra $$) they give you a little attitude at the cashier.

The people knocking this place are CRAZY. The food here is phenomenal. Best quick mexican in the city...DEFINITELY eat here. I was insanely pumped to find out they opened on the UES near my house and since they opened 7 days ago, I've been there 3xs. Hot Hot sauce is crazy hot and delicious. eat here ASAP

this place was so good! I am honestly not the biggest fan of mexican cuisine and you could not pay me to touch anything at chipotle, but I was actually really pleasantly surprised. It's pretty cheap and I got a huge burrito. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was the limited seating, but other than that it's quick, easy, and pretty good. Usually on the weeknights there's always a line out the door.

I live in the area for school and am on a strict budget. When my girlfriends and I need to treat ourselves, we head over to Dos Toros and order takeout to eat in Union Square. The price is perfect for us and it tastes so good that we return again and again! A+ for Dos Toros from the hungry college student!

My favorite burrito shop in the city. Makes me feel like I'm back in socal. Also, their carne asada burrito is awesome! Not sure what they do to that meat, but it sure tastes good!

Moved to NY about six months ago from AZ, which in my opinion has the best mexican food aside from mexico! I have been to every mexican food place in sight trying to find ANYTHING similar, and I just happened to stumble upon this! :) Bye bye Chipotle and Taco Bell, I found my new and delicious spot! YIIIPEEE!
