    Poor service

This place is always packed. The location is great, and the food is pretty good. However the tables are on top of each other, and it is painful to deal with the staff. We often get our drinks after the meal. They are always difficult about seating. The wait staff loves to stand around and talk by that screen where they put the orders in. Be sure to bring a water of bottle, you have to ask for a re-fill about three times from your waiter.

    just ok

We stopped by on a Saturday at noon and our party of 6 was easily accomodated. While the food was good, the waiter said that guacamole "for the table" was included .. didn't know that meant for $12 ... it got really crowded really fast ... but I think that our waiter did an ok job for waiting on 6 females - we were giving him the benefit of the doubt - thought he was new ...

    Unprofessional service

Never had more unprofessional. Had a large party for a birthday party and no matter how polite and helpful we tried to be, the waiter treated us with disrespect. The service was slow and the table was cluttered because the waiter chose not to clear our table. Had gratuity not been included, the waiter would have been given a very small tip. Avoid going there for large parties if you can - it was the worst experience with a waiter I've had and I've lived in Manhattan for years. Rude and arrogant.

    Not very good

Food was OK. Nothing special. Overpriced. Guacamole was very good though.

    A Bad Deal All Around

Indifferent service, food arrived lukewarm and undercooked, all at a high price. Spare yourself.

Lovely Space Poor Food and Service

We made reservations earlier that day and when we got to the restaurant were told that the Grammy's would be playing on a huge screen in the restaurant. This should have been communicated to us before our arrival at the restaurant or at the time the reservation was made. So much for a romantic dinner! The food was bland, luke warm, mediocre and overpriced. The only salvation was the guacamole - very good. The waitress tried to push entrees and alcohol and was amazed when I said that I did not want an alcoholic beverage. I do not mind paying money for great food but this was expensive mediocre food with really poor service. Most definitely will not return no matter how nice the space is the food and service was inadequate! Not impressed at all ...

    Tasty

The tacos are small portions because they are meant to be appetizers. The enchiladas filled me up and were very tasty. The guacamole is definitely worth the $11 or whatever it is. Our service was fine and our drinks were good. We were lucky to go on one of those warmer days in the fall and sat outside under the heaters; very charming. I brought my cousins from out of town and they loved it.
