    Very good and tasty

Went here on a Friday evening, there was no wait, we got a table right away. The staff was very accommodating, we didn't like where we were seated (too close to the door) and asked to be moved and they did move us, and they were very nice about it. The guac was great as well as the skirt steak. It was pricey, but it's Manatten and the food was well worth it. The atmosphere was very pretty and cozy. Definatly will go back

    Great!

The food is amazing especially the desserts. I absolutely love this place! Honestly don't understand all the bad reviews. As far as being pricey goes there's a menu outside the restaurant. If you don't have money don't go out or you'll always find something to complain about afterwards.

    trendy and overpriced

dark and kinda loud atmosphere- guac was amazing, sangria was good but for the price we paid they couldve used fresh fruit, not canned soggy pieces of i dont even know what! portions were really meager but the food was very tasty..i shared the tuna ceviche, seabass and refried beans and you would think that is a nice portion for 2 people- but no it was barely enough for one. the side of beans was just about the size of my mornign coffee mug. so with that said i think it was a bit overpriced! i probably wouldnt go back there...

    great, but expensive..

The food here is delicious, there's no doubt. It's amazing how quickly bills can add up though! Great place for friends visiting, and for a "scene", but not for just an every night kind of meal. Go to a smaller less trendy place and you can find the same quality.

    trendy, overpriced

i was expecting it to be overpriced and was not surprised. a pitcher of sangria for $32, 3 baby tacos for $15 as the entree that came out freezing cold. The guac was tasty though. If you're looking to eat well go somewhere else.

I cant believe these positive reviews!

Theres a lot of buzz about this place so I decided to give it a try. I took my dad there for his birthday since he loves mexican food (we're hispanic but not mexican), the atmosphere is great and beautiful, but the food was not good at all. I was even offended that any of it was considered Mexican cuisine or even latin cuisine for that matter. My father and I ordered the two enchiladas and my bother ordered the pomegranate ribs...everything was just mediocre, I was very disappointed. My dad ate everything just to please me and not hurt my feelings-I pushed my plate to the side. When the waiter asked about how we found the food, I told him I was disappointed. I guess my honest response shocked him becuase he didnt follow up with us of try to correct any of it. Being the nice person that I am, I nonetheless paid the bill (about $115.00) and felt totally robbed. We joked that we should have made reservations to the McDonalds on the corner!

    Good but expensive.

Very good restaurant, all the food was excellent, the chili appetizer with beans is incredible. I had the steak tacos, they were very good and my girlfriend had shrimp with rice which was also great. She also enjoyed the margaritas, there seem to be a huge amount of them. The place is expensive and it's kind of dumb that they charge for the chips and salsa, but its still quite good. Service was good, if a little too perky, and the decor of the restaurant is very nice.
