Not worth it
I was so unimpressed with Dos Caminos. It is terribly expensive for such TINY and not-so-great entrees! Since my table ordered some appetizers, I ordered the tacos as my main meal, and asked the waiter if it would be big enough for one. He said of course. Turns out it is 2 tiny pieces of chicken on some lettuce, NO taco involved. Margaritas are good but very small too. Wanted to enjoy myself but was still hungry by the end of the meal! Not worth the trip.

Wasn't at all what I expected...
All I heard about was Dos Caminos and how wonderful the food is and blah blah blah... boy was I disappointed. I'm a huge fan of mexican food and Dos Caminos does not live up to my Standards... If you are a Guacomole Fan then I must say it wasn't bad... but the food is incredibly OVERPRICED and def not worth your money at all! I do not recommend this place especially for people who are students like me and on a tight budget :-P

Not worth the money
Really beautiful restaurant and the server was really great. The hostess was unproffessional; she informed us that we had to leave at a specific time. The food was okay; guacamole was ok and it was very expensive for what was offered, in terms of food.

My Fav Mexican
If I were to rate all '"famous" Mexican in town, I would definitely rank it #1, followed very closely by Rosa Mexicano. I love fish when I eat out, and Dos Caminos' ceviche is definitely great! We also got complementary 'spiced up' coffees with dessert. I will come back here anytime.

I don't recommend this place
First, it took forever to get seated even with a reservation, and getting to the bar for drinks was a nightmare. The food was mediocre and not worth the bill. Honestly there are better places to eat in nyc.

Smashing Baby
What a relief to find place with great food, service and ambiance. I had the Florida Grouper which was excellent. We were a party of 6 all enjoyed the food and had a great time. I don't think that the price of liquor in the store has gone up enough to justify a margarita of any concoction to be 11 bucks. The only thing missing was the mariatchi band. But there was some hip music playing which was fine. Go there, you won't be disappointed.
