Very Good / Excellent Service
went with family on a mid Dec Sat night. Nice crowd - fun atmosphere - games on TV. Burgers were great!! Kids (14 & 17) got appetizers and liked them a great deal. We had nice college age looking waitresses, (who spoke English and could dialogue with you) that were attentive and fun. Family of four - 4 burgers, 2 appetizers, 1 wine, 1 beer, 2 iced teas, salad, 1 dessert $100. I would go back in a NY minute

Food is the best kept secret onUES
i have been going to Dorians for over 25 years --- the food now is as good as any Tavern in the city. i do not go there at night anymore , but love going for a baseball or football game in the afternoon. The food is top notch, lots of talking and fun. it is a family run place , with the family always around to give you a very good feeling. i hope nobody listens to me , i do not want it to get too crowded during the times i go

Football fan?
If you're a football fan, and on this day specifically a Washington Redskins fan, then you'll enjoy the brunch in a sportbar atmosphere. If you're wanting to catch up with old friends then have to try on a day minus the skins playing. Food was good. Burger on the english muffin was tasty. wings were good too. A friend had one of the salads and two others had the burger sliders and they enjoyed. Server forgot their bacon though but did the right thing by comping one of the meals.

Unbelievable
This is up there with one of the best burgers I have ever had in the city. Fits the English muffin perfectly. With a choice of waffle fries or regular fries you can't go wrong. The Nachos were great as well.

Pleasant Surpise!
I've always known Dorrian's to be an overcrowded, over popular bar, but was impressed how good the Eggs Benedict was when I went in one Saturday morning for brunch. A couple weeks later, I went in to watch a Yankee with a friend and we split the excellent wings (which smelled so good when the guy next to us ordered that that we had to get them!), and I devoured a spot-on burger—which are bigger than most in the neighborhood and come on a toasted English muffin and with excellent fries—while my friend enjoyed a tasty wrap sandwich. The service was great (it doesn't get too crowded for food early until the warm weather hits and the windows come out, most people in the neighborhood only know it as a bar), and we couldn't complain that the wings, and huge sandwich each, and a beer cost us less than 20 bucks each! Some of the other customers have been going there for food for over 10 years and enjoy the fact that the great, relative inexpensive food is one one Yorkville's best kept secret, if their bar scene isn't so much. I now eat there at least once a week.
