Don't want the world to know! They may eat it all up or the price may go up so I may not get it when I need it or I'll be spending more money...the only cake that closely rivals my Mom's and she made a cake to die for!

My brother in law invited us for dinner at the Door, must say the food was delicious, the staff was very professional, and the ambiance was delightful!!

There are numerous Jamaican restaurants in this part of Queens, NY, and "The Door" is among the very best. During my many visits, I've enjoyed several dishes on the menu and have always found the food to be fresh and delicious, with good-sized portions. The staff is highly professional and the decor is upscale. This is not your typical carry-out/dine in Jamaican restaurant. You will not be disappointed. And no...I they did not pay me for this review. :-)

Went to The Door restaurant for my birthday, I had ordered the peppered shrimp and ackee roll for our starter, stuffed lobster and peppered steak followed on for our main course, I was very disappointed in the lobster as there was hardly anything there just the stuffing also the peppered steak was just a mass of gravy, re ordered again and had the oxtail which wasn't great, over all I believe that attention to detail is a must and more time and effort taken in preparing food for customers

I've been a patron of The Door for years. The food and atmosphere always tops. The waiters and waitresses are the best. Very courteous and professional. Unfortunately since the renovation the quality of the food has gone done. My last three visits I had to ask the waiter to reheat my food. The peas and rice appeared to have been sitting out for a while. As far as the atmosphere, it's like being at Red Lobster. Their unique coziness has been lost.
