I order delivery from Doo Zo once a week. Service is extremely fast and courteous. The sashimi deluxe is a great deal--very fresh, generously portioned. This place has really spoiled me, other downtown sushi places are disappointing in comparison.

This was the very first sushi place I've been to and I've been to others but I'll always go back to Doo Zo. Their sushi is made to order and always fresh. For the price you pay, you get fresh cuts of fish, shrimp and anything else that's meant to be on rice. I even tried their soba soups. It's a hearty meal well worth slurping and the tempura shrimp is always awsome. Atmosphere is the best. Wood seating and interior gives the feeling like you're in a modern Japanese temple (best way I can explain it XD) and the back area is big enough for larger groups with a skylight and modern decor that's artistic without the dramatic flair. I take all my friends there and they love it!

Was skeptical when we passed by and saw no one inside at 7:45pm. However, we decided to give it a try. Food was tasteless. Fish was cut very thin and not at all very fresh we ordered a spider roll and it was the smallest soft shell crab I've ever had. The one positive thing is (maybe because no one else was really there) that the server was really attentive with our order and drinks. I'd probably not visit this establishment again, because I felt there is better food to be had for the money we paid.

The rolls (eaten for lunch) were completely tasteless. It felt as if I was eating plain rice (if even). Mayhaps the lunch special is food that otherwise would have been thrown out, but certainly it's not tasteful.

The sushi I ordered was fresh enough, but I was a bit put off that it was all room temperature when it arrived. Miso soup a little on the sweet side, but all in all it was good average fare. Very average. Delivery was nice and quick, I have not been to the restaurant itself. Good standby if no better options are present.

Pretty standard, good sushi. they have some really interesting rolls, like a whitefish roll with mint and spicy fish roe thats was really good. they're special rolls are interesting, and the fish is good and fresh. also pretty affordable, me and my boyfriend ate for $22.

Since going here I find that I don't go to many other places that serve sushi as well as they do. I recommend it to anyone that likes sashimi because, so far, they have the best sashimi deluxe at a price I find worth paying. Their appetizers are good as well, the Tempura is really nice and not over greasy like most fried foods. And I love the atmosphere. It's very calming and humble. Wood benches along the wall as part of the seating arrangement and there's a section inthe back for parties. Overall, it's a nice place to go to for special occassions or just because you want some great fish.
