i knew it was hard to pick a korean place to eat in ktown, so i went on menupages to do some research first. this restaurant sounded really good, and i believe it to be true now. we asked the waitress what she recommended, and we had a spicy beef thing, and it was delicioussssss! the bibimbop and seafood pancake was really good too. the waiters were really nice because we kept asking for water. the interior design was very cool too. a very unique place. and you guys have to check out the bathrooms!

I like this restarurant because the food and service are pretty good except when it gets really busy. My husband and I hang out with our firends, who are also a mixed couple. I see all different kinds of people enjoying food here. The interior design is done in a very contemporary Asian style. (it uses a mid-tone color scheme, nice dark veneer material and some east asian seating sections). The lightning is also soft and not like other bright asian restaurants. Their assorted meat platters get my "thumbs up." They have a good sake, beer and wine selection. I think they could get a 5.0 from me, if the servers and hostess were trained more professionally. I mean their service is pretty good but not at a 5 star hotel level.

8 of us had dinner here the other night and had a great time. we had the mushroom pajun, which were great. i had the tofu/veggie dolsot bibimbap, which was ok - was hoping for a little more flavor. then again, korean food isn't the smartest option for vegetarians! my friend ordered the bbq, which she really liked. the one major issue was the amount of time it took to get the waitstaff's attention!

I've been going here for some time and have always loved in. most every time I've been here, I was the only white person eating here. The rest were all Korean. You know a indian food restaurant is good when you see cabs parked all the way down the street. The same rukle applies. Don's, where Koreans go for Koreans BBQ!

Great tasting cook your own bbq. Highly recommended. Fun atmosphere, especially for a larger crowd. Definitely back over and over again for this bbq.

The atmosphere here is excellent. On the outskirts of Koreatown, Don's Bogam BBQ & Wine Bar stands apart from the typical Korean restaurants. This place has great tables with lowered seating where you remove your shoes. We had the Shabu Shabu, which was delicious and quite a bargain. This would be a good place to bring lots of friends.

As much as I love Korean food - I've typically been turned off by the decor and drink selections. Don's Bogam changed my mind about both! Loved the food, service was perfect in that they didn't rush us at all, but were attentive and available as needed. Atmosphere is charming and there is no overwhelming smell of gas from the grills and no smoke! Excellent wine list as well. Really a great dining experience - I can't wait to go again - especially for the bibambop. Prices a bit higher than other places, but so worth it.
