I've eaten here several times now and really enjoy it. I would call it a middle/upper restaurant. They had a great $28 prix fix menu for the summer which included 1.5 lb lobster. I would recommend the steamed mussels for an ap. What I really enjoy about Don's is the self playing piano for great background atmosphere and last time I went there a gentleman was playing it. The other post said they were served an $85 bottle of house wine but I always get glasses of house cabernet and they are reasonable, $7-10 if I remember correctly.

This is a great restaurant. I strongly suggest dining here.

This place is absolutely perfect... polite, friendly, delicious food, wonderful wine... except that when we ordered a "cabernet" it was $85 a bottle. It was delicious, and we ordered a second bottle, not realizing it was that much. The two low-budget folks in the group felt awful, and those of us who could sort of afford it subsidized them. I feel that if a restaurant offers a bottle that is considerably more than an average price, they should mention that.

I was walking by the restaurant after meeting with some co-workers and decided to give it a try for dinner (they had a gorgeous flower arrangement which caught my eye) the service was wonderful, the food perfect and the prices even better. I really enjoyed their stuffed crab ravioli with a glass of wine. It is definitely a place worth visiting more than once. The service alone makes it all worth while..

I went into Don Veitia this past weekend with my date. It was really great. They have a fabulous Pomegranite Martini that I drank 3 of! They also told me they manufacture and inport thier own coffee and cocoa. I wil try them next time. The service was really friendly.
