Wowwww
After a frustrating evening when our order got canceled we ordered again and were blown away. The nachos were amazing, al pastor tacos were huuuuge with lots of pineapple, rice and beans were well seasoned... Good stuff! It took a while but we're a little ways away in north greenpoint. We will order from them again! Still love papacitos but these guys are going to be a new treat.

What are you thinking?
Went here for dinner, based on all of the ecstatic reviews. My order was wrong, the beans and rice were overcooked and the chicken lacked good taste. Maybe it was just a bad day - but I was totally underwhelmed. Won't be going back. Oh - the lemonade was excellent though and the chips and salsa as good as any other in NYC.

Good Stuff
I live across the street and get food there with some regularity. Its not expensive and its good. No liquor liscence but they've only been open for a few months.

Excellent Food!
The best Mexican food I've ever had. Bar none. And the best chili. We really loved the chili.

Best in the Neighborhood. Great Value!
My wife and I have eaten here twice. Great service and great food. The chicken Mole Burrito is one of the best Mole sauces I've had - definitely the best in Williamsburg. I recommend it. Also, the chips and salsa are both fresh and best of all are free. They keep your table well stocked. They tend to give people who order take out free chips and salsa while they wait too. I think that's really nice of them. Enchiladas are also very good. The rice that you get on the side is great. I know that sounds weird to say, but the rice was really good and flavorful. Service is great and there is a really friendly family feel to the place. Food can be a little slow for take out. I would call and order in advance and pick it up. I have not tried delivery. Highly Recommended!

Best Mexican in NYC
I'm a huge fan of this place!! I have eaten there close to 50 times and every time the food blows my mind! There is a cozy feel inside, the people that work there are friendly and kind, and the music playing makes you feel like you took a trip to Mexico. As for the food, I can't say enough good things. They have the freshest chips and BEST salsa I've pretty much ever had! They'll keep filling up the bowls too, mmm. Then there's the Mexplosion Burritos! I always get the shrimp and it delivers every time. The burrito is HUGE and filled with goodness and covered in sour cream and verde sauce. I have to take half home each time because the portion is so big. My boyfriend loves the beef Mexplosion and I have another friend that raves about the taquitos. So given all that I've told you, what if I told you you can bring your own beer? Does it get better than handing your beers over to the waiter and having him bring them cold to you whenever you're ready? They'll even pour it! OK, I was done but forgot to mention the dessert. I had the flan recently and have named it my Mexican Cheesecake. I didn't know I liked flan until Don Pancho's.

best flan... EVER
This place is awesome. I had actually lived in the area for a while and never knew it existed, but my friend took me and it's my new favorite Mexican restaurant! The chips & salsa are delicious, fresh out of the oven and the shrimp burrito is perfection! Grab a bunch of friends, get some burritos and BYOB, you will not be disappointed! Oh... and don't forget to get some Flan.. it's pretty much the most amazing flan ever.
