I've lived in Brooklyn and Manhattan for most of my life. Honestly, this is the best place around for authentic, delicious, affordable Italian food. Their pizza is terrific, but stay and try their pastas and other entrees in the tiny but nice dining room. Can't go wrong.

Best plain cheese slice ever. Love this place! The pizza kit is great value - dough, sauce and mozzarella - for $9 ! Love their tomato sauce, its a tiny bit sweeter than others - just like summer tomatos! Also love their mini chicken parm panini!

I always call for a delivery and the staff is always extremely friendly. The young lady who answers the phone is always pleasant and the gruff sounding Italian man is a sweetheart. Not to mention the delivery boys always make sure the food is hots. The Panini's are what die for, especially the eggplant. After being away on business trips I have called from LAG asking them to hold some so I can pick them up on the way home and they were very accommodating. It's really nice to have a neighborhood pizza place that makes good food, is reasonably priced with a good attitude. If you haven't been there or ordered from them you are doing yourself a disservice.

I am a born and raiser new yorker and we take pizza very seriously. I have been ordering from Don Filippo for over 20 years. Always good true new york pizza served hot and with a smile. The woman on the phone is always helpful. The garlic knots are what I dream about. Seriously you cannot go wrong with this place.

I just ordered the Margherita fresh mozzarella, it came cold. It was so sweet, the seem to just use tomato paste.

If Bella Rosa claims that the eggplant Panini is divine then for me this must be one of the best places in the world!Keep up the good work chef and keep my baby happy!

This is one great neighborhood pizza joint. Last year, our baby was hospitalized for 20 days at nearby Lenox Hill Hospital… Even though a few other places closer to the hospital offer pizza, THIS is the place we’d gravitate towards – a no-frills neighborhood place that serves up delicious food. The pizza is fab as are the paninis (like little sliders made from garlic knots). Nice wide selection of tasty eats. The seating area is kind of cramped & old-looking but hey at least there are clean bathrooms. We love Don Filippo’s!
