Saturday night 3/21/2015 party of 36 drops $3000 and the maitr de' or whatever you call the short bald guy in the orange shirt rudely has his staff strip down our tables while we were still sitting there. Snapping tablecloths in our faces hit my sister in the face with one. We were left scrambling for phones, pocketbooks and personal effects. Had he come to me and said nicely we have another party waiting would you mind if your party moved to the dance area and the tables we would of kindly and respectfully obliged. You now have 36 people who will never recommend Don Coqui for a party ever. It was obvious the establishment is very successful but the total lack of respect for your dinner customers

Yes, security needs to ease up a little. Otherwise, fantastic atmosphere, great food and the music was wonderful. Still talking about it now.

Some of the staff members were rude. The waiters were very nice and professional. The first hostesses that we encountered and the ones that patrol the dance area could use some customer service training. The first people customers meet should be the most customer-friendly and should greet with a smile, maybe they were having a bad day. We were a large party and spend quite a bit of money there. To top it off, my salmon was undercooked.

I attended a birthday dinner and was looking forward to having a great meal. Instead I left disappointed. There were three waiters but it felt like only one. By the time everyone's food came out, we all wanted it wrapped because it took TOO long and everyone was totally disappointed. The only reason nothing was mentioned, we didn't want to upset the birthday girl! There were more people to bus the tables than taking orders. A few of the dishes were too salty where as others weren't seasoned enough. Overall, I WOULD NOT recommend this restaurant!!!

The best Puerto Rican food I've had. The amount of food/ drinks you get is amazing. love the music!

The place is nice. The music and dancing was great but the paella is too orange. Pernil so big I thought it was for more than two people. I lost my appetite. Please work at it, otherwise very nice place
