Dolcino honestly use to be my favorite places to order from. After a year of impeccable dishes and exemplary delivery service, my last 3 orders went downhill, and up in price! The first flaw that I noticed in my last 3 deliveries is that my usual dish went up $4, in a recession. I let it slide because I thought that for the food value, maybe it would be OK. I ordered the same dish for the final time last night and the dish went up another 2 dollars. The broccoli was overcooked and so were the noodles. As a result, they have lost a neighborhood staple~ me as a customer. A business has to realize the importance of their regular patrons as well as the ability ro acquire new ones. Newly overprice dishes and overcooked entrees are not the way to do it. Dolcino, I am done. Sorry. There are just too many places to be bickering and pleading with you to do right. You live and you learn. (At least I hope Dolcino learns)

I just got back from Dolcino. I must say, what a great restaurant. I live 2 blocks away and have always walked past it but have been skeptical based on the people that hang out on the street nearby. My girlfriend and I decided to go here based on the good reviews and the proximity to our apartment. It did not dissapoint. The service was great. Service is very important to us and they really could not have any better. The waiter was very attentive, and made sure that the wine glass was full and that everything was fine with our order. The food was fresh and delicious. The prices were very reasonable. It was warm, comfortable and a very good place to spend a friday night. We will definately be back, and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the best italian in the neighborhood.

I was perusing Menupages.com and I thought that I would try a new restaurant in my neighborhood for delivery. I ordered the Farfalle Dolcino, but requested Alfredo sauce instead of their traditional olive oil. They gladly accomodated my request. It was awesome! The shrimp were fresh. Delivery was fast! This is definitely my new fav Italian place for delivery in Murray Hill :-)

This was our second time at this restaurant and our entire party of eight enjoyed our meals very much. The food was very, very good and the service was excellent. My martini was also very good. We will definitely be dining here again.

Consistency is a constant. The quality of the food, the attentiveness of the wait staff, the atmosphere are always there.

I really enjoyed this place. The service was greatour waitress was very attentive, then again it was a late, slow Wednesday night. The food was good too though the portions could have been bigger. Their bread and garlic dipping sauce is amazing. Overall, nice place to eat but nothing fabulous.

The impeccable service and cozy atmosphere were just the start of a great dinner. My fiance and I enjoyed warm bread and a delicious Caesar salad. I had the gnocchi with pesto sauce which was superb. My fiance had penne vodka with chicken which he liked, but there was a funny piece of chicken in it, so he didn't eat the rest of the chicken after that one. Their prix-fixe menu, 3 courses for $25, is a great deal. I'll do that next time. We had the flourless chocolate cake for dessert which was also yummy. I love sweets, and this wasn't that sweet, but it was still great. The strawberry they served with it was so fresh and sweet. I would go back here in a heartbeat and recommend it to everyone I know. I was too happy to give our waiter a big tip because he was really fantastic. Everything was perfectly timed and he checked in with us a perfect amount of times. He didn't even shove the dessert menu in our faces the way some restaurants do! This is truly a gem.
