Always a short line tells a lot. In terms of quality, price, atmosphere and service a winner. The shrimp tempura w/perfectly tender and intact vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, green and red pepper, carrot and sweet white onion) was superb. Served with just the right side of brown rice. Happy to be a long time Villager to have it as a grub stop when the occasion arises.

Their tahini sauce is the best I've ever had. I always order some to go for salad dressing!

I was devastated with Dojo's on St. Marks closed, but am relieved that I can still enjoy the addictive tahini dressing, vegetable yakemeshi, soy burgers, and other delicious food at the West Side location. Perfect for quick, ultra-casual, healthy, delicious, well-priced food. The staff is laid back, but attentive. Cocktails aren't the fanciest in town, but are definitely tasty. My family and friends have been Dojo's loyalists since they first opened maybe 20+ years ago. Love them!

Food is great, cheap and plentiful. Energy is high. Great soy burgers. Fan for many many years! Service does have its bad days but nothing that outshines the food.

I seriously don't understand why no one has mentioned the awesome/cheap sangria they have here? Me and my friends will go out of our way to go to Dojo just for the sangria. It's delicious. Plus they put lychee nuts in it, which is unique and yummy.

I went to Dojo on jan. 29 2011, and it was amazing. The atmosphere is plain, but relaxing. The food is great...well at least what I ordered. The prices are schockingly low too! The service was really good as well..so no complains here! I recommend the NYU!

My friend and I happened upon Dojo while visiting NYC from Detroit. We had walked down Broadway all morning, and were starving and exhausted by the time we got to the Village. Desperate to find a restaurant that did not serve fast food, we stumbled into Dojo. We were immediately impressed with the vast array of healthful and vegetarian options, as well as the incredibly low prices. We will definitely return on our next trip!
