I love Dock's! I have turned on many locals to this find, and they are still in my debt. I have had many of the menu items and I think the food and service are very good and the value is great! The thing that most intrigues me is the Clam Bake on Sun & Mon. A wonderful bread basket, salad, steamers, muscles, corn-on-th-cob and potatoes and either 1 2lb or 2 1lb lobsters for a price in the $30's! Kids, ya can't get that in Ohio! I don't like restaurants that value quantity over quality, and I am used to eating in mostly "high-end" places, but Dock's is a must visit place when I am in the city (10-14 time a year). Like Jean George, Blathazar and the Stage Deli, it is like "home" to me.

Both of us in my party ordered lobster rolls and chowder for lunch. What a letdown! The lobster tasted off and was not very plentiful which was fine with me under the circumstances. The chowder was okay at the Eastside Docks but then I tried the Westside Docks and the chowder was subpar. There's no excuse to load up a chowder at a seafood place with celery and subpar clams. It tasted like they added a bit of cream to canned chowder in the kitch. and then brought it out. We also got steamers at that visit and they were very good. However, they served them with movie theatre butter instead of real dairy butter? Why?

My wife and I have visited Docks many times, and with lots of friends. Always a pleasure, the food was good, and the service was nice. Geat Raw bar for those interested. Not a problem to park either, safe area. I would go back in a minute.

My wife and I have eaten at the East Side Dock's many times, have taken friends from out-of-town, and have always enjoyed it. There's a large selection of fresh fish simply prepared and many specialties. The shoe-string sweet potatoes are one of own favorite side dishes. Portions are generous and the lobster specials (weeknites) are a delicious bargain. Noise level is boisterous and a little higher than we like, but the food and service more than compensate.

The portions are small so if you are hungry don't go to Dock's.

Last time I was there, I ordered the soft shell crabs. I specifically asked the waiter how they were prepared. He said they were just sauteed in butter. Out came the plate with 2 small crabs. I took one bite and they were drenched in a lemon sauce. The waiter took them back and brought the same plate back and I could still taste the lemon. The third time, the waiter came back with one lone sauteed crab. Thus, I ended up with a $25 single soft shell crab for dinner. Not going back.

Just Amazing. I think that everyone should try some of Docks.
