So romantic
I've lived in the area for over a year and i can't believe i haven't been to this place - it is so romantic with a rustic feel, wine list is excellent and food is yummy.

Rustic, romantic and good panini...
It's hard to find good panini believe it or not, but D.O.C does a great one. They have very fresh ingredients and a great atmosphere. One thing that dissapoints me are the prices. For 5 thin slices of meat, you pay $7 or $8. The same goes for the small salads and small panini. I understand that prices are going up everywhere, but I wish I could order alot more when I come here. I'm a fan!

blown away
I went here recently for a friend's birthday-not expecting much because I don't really care for Italian food and I don't drink wine. However, I was blown away. The wonderful waiter brought out his suggestions for the table for salad, pasta, and cheese plates, and each one was wonderful. If you like cold cuts and cheese, this is the place, those were the tru standouts. The atmosphere was exceptionally romantic, most tables were dates, and our table for 12 in the back felt intimate and convivial, as opposed to the sprawling nightmare the big group meal usually is. Stellar. It goes without saying it's expensive, but I felt it was more than worth the value.

Good spot for wine
The wine list in this place is great. I took a friend who writes for a wine magazine and she was very impressed with the quality of the wines. The menu is limited but very solid. Good spot for after work drink and light dinner. My only complaint is their cash only policy. 50% of their wine list bottles are over 50 dollars and they don't take credit cards?
