I must say that Doc Watson's is and hopefully will remain the best Irish bar in the city. From the mouthwatering food to the great Irish staff and the friendly atmosphere mirrored throughout the establishment, everything is top class. Also the beer and wine and champagne is very good. Just one word of warning for all ladies, be careful when entering the restroom as like many other NYC establishments, you may get a rude awakening when you break someones kneecap by pushing a door too quickly not realizing its mere size.... Great bar, love everything about it.

This is the spot my wife, daughter and I never forget to visit when are in the city.....the staff (most of whom are right from ireland) is what makes this place. Where else can a 4 year old feel like she's a regular (she's like norm from cheers whenever we go there) the food is excellent especially the fries with curry dip and the harp never stops flowing....do yourself a favor and go....tell them francesca (my daughter) sent you.

On any night at any time I love to come into this bar. The food is out of this world!!! The bartenders make everyone in the bar smile!!! Great for watching games and live music 2 nights a week. It truly has the best atmosphere in NYC. I cannot get enough of it :)

One of New York's best kept little secrets. You go in as a customer and you leave as a friend!
