Do Hwa

This is hands down the best Korean resto all around. It has the authenticity in the kitchen, you know there are Korean mamas cooking in there. Super tasty The atmosphere is tasteful and you don't have that barbeque smell on your clothes when you leave. That is the one think that irks me about ktown, no one proper vents. The staff is cool and well versed and they all speak English so even if you're a Korean that does not speak Korean, they don't look at you like a freak. I love the dok boki, japchae, the kimchi chigae rocks as well as the dei ji bul goki. YUM! But the best thing is that you can have a tasty cocktail before and after your meal.

Ate here last night with a large group and they were extremely accomodating. We got the pre set menu which was perfect. Highlights from the meal include kimchi pancakes, BBQ pork ribs, pork dumplings, bibimbop, pork belly, and chicken, all of which was amazing. The specialty cocktails are very good as well, as I sampled 4 of them. The staff was attentive and helpful. I would definently go back!

Even though our group of four did not have reservations, the hostess was gracious and was able to move around some reserved tables so that we could sit at one of the tables with a stove top. From start to finish, the service was great. We ordered the bulogi and it was amazing. So was the bibimpop, apps, and drinks. Will definitely be coming back!

First time here. Sat at a grill table so we could cook our own food. We got the bulgogi and short rib. Food was amazing. Service friendly. Drinks also good. Will def come back again.

It was very hard to read the menu since it was dark in the room. It was also too dark to see what was in the food. When asked what the side dishes were the server rushed through and it seemed he did not want to explain. When the entrees came they looked okay but several diners could not eat their food due to the very high salt content. It was just one dish, it included both meat and fish entrees. I wonder if the high salt content is to get diners to order drinks. The servers were extremely efficient in removing empty plates without asking the diner if he was finished. I was in the process of getting more of the side dish when my plate was whisked away. The same thing happened with my entree dish and the dishes for the 2 children in my party. I wonder if they were trying to get us out as fast as possible. There was no one waiting for a table.
