Still rocking after all these years

I have been coming to Dizzy's for 8 years. Though no one would say it is a haute cuisine, these guys seem to have found a way to bring fresh and interesting food, delivered by an attentive staff and accomodating service for all of the 9 years they have been open. Is it time to call this place an institution?

now i know why it's called comfort food.

came for dinner tonight. had a really rough day. my girlfriend and i were crying. not only did the waitress give us extra french fries to cheer us up, but the food was awsome. it was quiet, and sweet. and comfort. comfort. comfort.!

    Best. diner. food. ever.

Brunch, lunch or dinner, it's comfort food prepared without too much grease or butter, but still just as yummy. Granted, you don't really want to go there at prime brunch time on the weekend, but before 10am is okay, and dinner time has never been a hassle getting a seat. A bonus: the waitstaff are very accomodating to families and making sure that the basket of muffins is never empty.

    Worth the Wait

For everyone complaining about how crowded this place is and how long it takes to get a table, there's a reason: this place is great! Go somewhere else if you're that impatient, and let us adults enjoy.

    Awesome scene

Crazy crowded during brunch, but a lot of fun. While waiting for a table I was offered coffee (oh yeah) during the wait with no charge. The servers where bouncing their heads to the great music playing (Stevie Wonder), and happy when taking orders. The food appered almost in an instant and when leaving I was able to take the coffee to go with me. All in all a great experiance.

    Don't believe the hype

We got poor service and food. Our waiter took forever for the food, wasn't apologetic and took an attitude with us when we inquired on the location of our meal. The meal came cold and was nothing impressive. This place is built on hype more than anything and just carries the illusion of being a good place to eat because "cool people" eat here.

    Dizzy's rocks!

i ate here last night with a friend and i had a grand time! My server was super knowledgeable and very very cute. He gave us some great suggestions, which were delicious! The service was impeccable as was the beautifully plated food. Nice job!
