dizzy's is a good choice if you want good food and you don't care about being ignored by the staff. they seem like they are more concerned about their social life (which appears to revolve around the restaurant) than with doing anything even remotely close to serving the customers. however, i do still eat here a few times a month (usually take out) because the food is damn good. but i admit i would go more often but i usually just dont feel like dealing with the hassle of begging for water and silverware etc......

I love Dizzy's- my boyfriend and I have been going there every Sunday for a few years. I can not complain about the food. Yes, its a little pricey but always pretty good. As of late the service really hasn't been good though. They've forgotton basics like water, the gratis muffins, etc. They even served my boyfriend an omlette with Ham when he has food restrictions and can't eat Ham- Yikes! However they try to make up for it and the manager is really cool and friendly. I guess that's all you can ask for. Good food, "eh" service, and good PR. Oh, and the staff are TOTAL hipsters, even if they pretend not to be. ITs a cool diner.

The change at Dizzy's is intense. My usual afternoon spot has turned into a dingy restruant with a non existing waiter. Todd was my server for years and he knew what I wanted before I even sat down. Now I have a guy who reads the newspaper at the counter the entire time and the other guy is on his phone. Dizzy's is right across the street form my office so it is really convienent for me, but a change needs to happen.

agree with "ignorant person" below #1. food and service are mediocre at best. though they do have good coffee and baked goods. otherwise, id skip it.

dizzy's has a wonderful waitstaff consisting of friendly non-hipster waiters and waitresses. the food is delicious (especially the award-winning mac 'n cheese) and i would love to go back. although the prices are a little much, there is a very large portion to every meal and you definitely get what you pay for. the ignorant person below me obviously knows nothing about food : )

Dizzy's is the sort of self-important restaurant that thinks a hipster waitstaff and a retinue of supposedly cutting edge breakfast food excuses mediocre, bland food. I went to Dizzy's on the recommendation of a friend and the positive reviews on menupages. Rather than impressing myself and my girlfriend with quality, interesting dishes, Dizzy's served up aggrevation with aloof, obnoxious service and greasy, lame food. All this would have been fine if the food wasn't way overpriced, and you couldn't go down the block in every direction and find better food, in the same quantities for at least $5 less.

Impressive menu. The food is thoughtfully prepared. Great burger and fries. The Ceasar salad was only OK. They don't deliver Sunday. It's wanna be gourmet, but the best choice for a diner!
