I worked in the financial district for nearly a year and a half and I'd eat lunch here with a friend almost every day. One day, I went someplace else and when I went in the next day, the cashier said "Were you sick? We missed you yesterday!" The food here is good. Not exceptional, not knock your socks off, but for a lunch special, you can't really go wrong. The value is exceptional, in my opinion, and I love that they took time to get to know their customers. The Cedar St. location has somewhat better atmosphere, though.

The koftas were tasteless in a tasteless sauce, which is just wrong. The bindhi masala (okra) was good, and the Nan bread was great (but I've never had bad Nan). The price was okay. Overall, a mediocre lunch experience, but if it's the only Indian food in the neighborhood, I may go back.

Three of us ordered from here. We all had different opinions. One guy thought it was bad he said that "indian food shouldn't be boring". The other two enjoyed the food but we had a problem with the delivery. They didn't call us once the food got here, so we didn't know it was here. so the delivery guy went back to the restaurant. then we called them and they brought it back. so it wasn't as hot as it should have been. I would order from there again.
