    Our special neighborhood restaurant

Divino's restaurant reminds us of our time spent in Italy. There's always a hearty welcome by the staff. It's a little bit like home to us, the food is good and the atmosphere charming. And most of the waiters are Italian, but also speak German. We find their service excellent.

    Service a little lacking

Waited 45 minutes for the harried waitress to remember to bring us our entree while everyone around us, even those who had come in after us, were served. She never even bothered to come back and ask how our dinner was. Food was fine, but the poor service overshadowed everthing.

    Excellent Dining Experience

This place makes you feel at home. Not sure if it is but it has the feeling of a family owned business. I love the selection of breads in the bread basket and love how the owner comes over to every table to chat and make sure things are well with you. They even give a complimentary plate of sugar cookies at the end of your meal :) They make you feel like home. I highly recommend the rigatoni with eggplant and mozzarella...it's delicious!

    Divino not so fino

Unfortunately what used to be a lovely place to dine is now a "joint" with poor lighting, corny music and average food. Requesting that my pasta be cooked al dente, it arrived like mush with rubbery clams. (Our server should never have delivered this plate to the table). Salad was drenched in dressing because we 'forgot' to order dressing on the side. Our friend's veal chop was priced at a hefty $30 price which outweighed the restaurant quality. And the crew (not an Italian in sight besides the owner) looked quite disheveled.

    Divine Dining at Divino's

When stepping into a restaurant I want to be approached right away, not hanging around to be noticed. Stepping into Divino's is like stepping into the living room of a relative that really likes me and that I am crazy about. They are happy to see me and give me a sincere and warm welcome. Service is excellent. Food is well prepared and delicious. The atmosphere is attractive. Prices are reasonable. Try the chicken with sausage and rosemary. Heaven.

    Best in the area

Divino has become our favorite neighborhood restaurant. The service is excellent, food is consistently good, and they are willing to make just about anything you ask. An assortment of great complimentary appetizers and butter cookies are a part of every dinner. We've never been dissapointed.
