My girlfriend and I went on a Friday night at around 7:30. The place was packed and we were seated relatively quickly. Shortly after arriving, business picked up and the place became really crowded. The waiter was an older gentleman who at first was very nice despite his harried manner. We opted for the price fixed menu, appetizer, entree and desert. The soup was cold and took forever. Our entrees were not good either. One entre was pasta which was served on a large plate with very little pasta and was cold. After finishing our meal, we waited at least 20 minutes for someone to remove the plates and check in with us. At which time we were told that we would have to take our desert to go because they needed the table. Obviously we can appreciate the place was busy and space was limited but the service up to that point was downright awful and then became downright rude. The food was ordinary at best and overpriced for quality and amount. Please do not patronize this establishment!!

Overpriced mediocre Italian food. We spent $100 for two with tip, and that was with a $25 coupon! The food, especially the red sauce, was not very good. You could do better whipping up some pasta and sauce at home. We will not be returning.

We sat outside on a nice spring night and ordered our drinks and put an order in for mussels in red sauce. The mussels tasted fishy and old. They were soggy like they were left in the sauce simmering for hours and the sauce was bland and tasteless. My entree of Margherita Pizza came out..I was expecting a nice Italian crust with fresh tomatoes and fresh basil, boy was I wrong! I've NEVER seen a pizza like this in my life! The "pizza" came out on a bowl/plate UNCUT and the crust was bright orange. It had a few chopped up salad looking tomatoes with dried basil sprinkled on top. I sent it back and asked for the check. Also I asked about the crab cake for an appetizer and the server honestly said they are frozen and all breading and not to get them. If you do decide to go, I would just get the pasta. It's something the hopefully can't mess up!

I've been ordering from Divino for 20 years and have never had a bad experience. It's the only place I've ordered from where the food has been consistently excellent, the staff is friendly and everything arrives exactly as ordered. We've tried everything, chicken, fish, shrimp, salads, pasta, veggies, deserts, and they give you more food for the price than other Italian restaurants in the neighborhood.

I'm not mad, but totally disapointed in this restaurant. Have been going for years and never had a complaint before. Ordered a drink and it got spilled right away. The waiter said nothing, no offer for a refill. When I saw it on the bill, asked for the manager, she said." the only thing I can do is give you a raincheck"Are you kidding? Have you ever heard of that? I didn't take it because I will never go back there again. they lost a customer over a lousy $8. They probably needed it more than I did. Even if you spill your soda in a movie theather, they would give you a refill for nothing.

We like the food here- the stuffed mushrooms are exquisite, the pasta dishes are all delicious. Love the ricotta cheesecake. The prices are reasonable and the people working there could not be nicer or more accomodating. We have been to other places in the neighborhood and always return to Divino's.

We went on July 31st at night and had a restaurant.com certificate. This is a $25 off certificate you buy in advance for $10 for a specific restaurant and they have been used at Divino for years and are used all over the city. Our dinner food was ok. The waiter was rude, and we had to repeatedly ask for our waters to be filled. They had live music with random people in the restaurant singing, like karaoke. I'd prefer not to have karaoke. Anyway, I presented the coupon. The women went on for 10 min about how they changed the agreement with restaurant.com and it can no longer be used on a fri or sat. I showed her the agreement I had bought, from a year ago, with no expiration, the one I bought is good on Saturday night, and she didn't care. She went on and on and whenever I tried to stop her from talking (it was painful to hear over and over), she would say "I am trying to help you." I finally asked how she was trying to help and she said by explaining it. I said that helping would be honoring the certificate. I asked her her name and she replied “I don’t have a name.” I said, “Oh my God, are you not going to tell me your name?” She walked away. Then I asked a waiter her name and she pulled him away. Then she returned to the table and said “My name is ____ and you are the rude one!” My husband and I were in shock. We eat at Italian restaurants all over the UES and there is not karaoke, they do fill your water, and the people working are not crazy. We will never go back and my husband told his work never to go back.
