Not Recommended
The waitstaff are untrained or uninterested and the food, while a good value and a great selection of bar type food, is inconsistent and you never know what will come from the kitchen. You can sit and wait and then get food that is not prepared well (or again, completely different than what you ordered before) and then sit and wait some more for another beer or your check. Forget it if they left something off your order 'cause by the time the waitress comes back you will be done with your meal.

Best burgers!
Never had a disappointing meal -- eat-in or delivery. excellent food. great people. Alana burger is delicious. enjoy!

Unpretentious
I define a dive bar as one that is unpretentious first and foremost. If they have great beers and a solid menu then its just bonus. Secondly a place that you can say what's on your mind from politics to s.e .x. this place meets that criteria. i have not had a bad beer or meal there yet. keep it up dive bar!

Post-College Crowd
Used to go here for the past decade and a half, and it was a steady local. But no longer. Simply stated, there are too many 20-something trust fund frat jocks and sorority girls, the new demographic on the UWS. Yet another good joint and neighborhood bite the dust. Suburbia on the Hudson lives!

Best bar on the UWS!
Like the title says, this is the best bar on the UWS. They have a great selection of beers, many local. The bar hosts lots of beer tastings and other fun events. Service is always great, as is the food. The wings and homemade sweet potato chips are worth a trip.
