    Skip it

Last time I was at Diva was in 2004. I remember it being OK, not as good as it was in the 90's, but not as bad as it was today. The food was terrible - my portion was miniature and tasteless while my friend's was huge and equally tasteless. Now I know why the restaurant was empty when all other restaurants on West B'way were packed.

    Disappointing

I had an early Sat. morning brunch. The place looks like it has seen better days, two tables used folding chairs, a dusty DJ booth against one wall. Ordered a "fresh mozzarella" omelet, I have to say, it was not fresh and was the worst omelet I ever tasted. The fried potatoes that accompanied it were delicious, as were the pancakes, but overall, I'm surprised this place can compete with the more upscale places on West B'way.

    Not worth the money!

I stopped in for dinner on a Sunday evening, the space and the food are good. With all of the fabulous restaurants in the area this is definitely not worth the money though. Our service was friendly but very unattentive. It seemed as if the tables next to us were being used as a spot for the management to sit and wine and dine some of their friends while being extremely rude to the paying customers. I like dance music but the beats playing here were just obnoxiously loud, we coudnt have had a decent coversation no matter how hard we tried. I will not be going back here.

    Disappointing

I went to Diva for my birthday lunch and was extremely disappointed. The staff didn't care, they were all chatting and we had to call them everytime we needed something. The food was terrible, not worth the money. I won't be going back.

    Great food, awesome atmosphere

The food here is so amazing!! Every appetizer we had was delicious. Their lobster raviolli is definitely a must try. The crowd is fun, but the place is not overly loud and crowded. A perfect friday night spot for dinner and drinks! aaaandd the apple crumb dessert was just perfect! Definitely reasonably priced also.

Great find during last day in NYC

My boyfriend and I were shopping in Soho and happened to find DIVA - it was the perfect late lunch spot for a gorgeous September afternoon. The food was quite good - lobster ravioli has an excellent sauce and texture. Since we were leaving that day - we had to have one more dessert - and it was the best Tiramisu I have eaten in ages! The service was attentive and atmosphere is cozy and hip, without being over the top. Very lovely all around.

    Uggghhh

The place is beautiful, but that's the only good thing I can say about this place. The service was poor, we had to ask 3 times for enough utensils and glasses, the waiter forgot some of our orders twice, and my food tasted like it was made two days before (although most of my friends liked their food). On top of that, they had some guitarist come in and blasted the amps so loud you'd think they were trying to play for the people inside the building across the street. I'm never going again...enough said.
