    Great Dinner Spot

This is a great dinner spot. I usually order from here a couple times a month and eat at the restaurant just as often. Prices are very reasonable, the food is consistently good. Mac n' cheese, ditch dogs, and for breakfast the bfast sandwich are all really really good. For a quick casual eat, especially if Blue Ribbon across the street is too busy, this is a sure thing. Love it.

    we love it

we always go here with the office for lunch. order the ditch dogs, which i don't think are on the menu. who can beat mac and cheese ON THE hot dog?? their soft shell crab sandwich is fantastic. the service is not the greatest, but i am usually too deep in mac and cheese to notice.

    Very good and reasonably priced

I can't believe the poor reviews this place has gotten. Maybe they have gotten their act together since the earlier reviews were posted. I have eaten there a handful of times, and the food is always great, and the prices are very reasonable. It is not trying to be upscale, but they make everything on their modest menu very well. The atmosphere is laid back, and I've never had to wait for a table, even on weekends. I can't say enough good things about the place.

The food here is really good, and pretty inexpensive. It's not trying to be Landmarc. It was crowded, but we didn't need to wait, even on a Friday night. Try the spicy coronas!

    Ignore the rest

This is a great place with a very relaxed atmosphere, well priced wine list, and a menu that will please most people. I am a frequest patron and have not had a poor experience yet. All servers and barstaff are always friendly and the place is always spotless.

    Poor food

Like most of the posters, I am a big fan of Landmarc. Couldn't believe the early bad reviews of Ditch Plains. What's going on here? The food was unpleasant. Passable fried calamari, crab dip like glue, badly grilled bass with overdressed greens, tiny shrivelled mussels with mediocre fries. Even the good bread and the well-priced wine couldn't make up for it. Lets hope that Landmarc's Time Warner satellite won't be this bad.

My friend and I ate at Ditch Plains last night. It will not happen again. As great fans of Landmarc, we had high hopes. We waited about an hour for a table (not bad for a Fri night). We ordered the Lobster Roll which was incredibly average. A lot of lobster, but no flavor. The salmon tartare was unseasoned and the smoked mozzarella balls were incredibly bland and tasted of raw flour. I hate to be so negative about anything to do with Landmarc, but this food was plain/ Great staff and atmosphere, but bad food.
