Amazing Bar-B-Q
Seriously, this place is amazing. I brought my parents, (65 yrs old), had corporate parties here, my 3 mth old baby was there last weel and all my close friends come to this place.... ribs are awesome, wings ridiculous, brisket fantastic, great beer from different breweries, and no the restaurant is not paying for me to say this. I like to see people enjoy a great meal and not crazy manhattan prices.

Too far, too chewy
Went last week and the beef ribs were inedible. The sides were greasy and tasteless - 4 for 4. To me sides often tell the hwole story. Also, getting there is a hassle. One guy at our table had good things to say, the rest of us agreed the place is alarmingly overrated.

Was That Dinosaur Meat We Ate...
...cause it sure chewed like it was a few billion years old! Really though, the rib meat was not tender at all and was so dry it had no possibility of ever falling off the bone. The brisket was not any better. It was spongy requiring a great deal of chewing to break it down for swallowing. Thankfully we had all the BBQ sauce in the world at our table for moistening purposes. The Pulled Pork was just okay. The Drunken Spicy Shrimp were alright... again saved by the sauce that accompanied them. The positive: we had a real nice server who was cheerful and efficient. Glad we made a reservation as we would have wanted to cry had we waited the length that some people were waiting to eat this very sub-par BBQ. Needless to say, we will not return. Too bad we had high hopes on this one!

Disappointed
Maybe its because I'm from Virigina, but I found the dinosaur barbeque experience to be one of the poorest of my life. The ribs were dry no flavor. I couldn't cut through it, it was like a rock. After waiting that long for a table, I was definitely disappointed.

best bbq in NY, period
I had the beef ribs, which were great, but I wish they were real ribs, and not riblets. Anyway, it was REALLY good, and my boyfriend had the brisket and ribs, which he loved. The prices were really low, cheaper than BBQ's, and much tastier. The mac and cheese and fries were also amazing!!! It was a little hard to find parking, but luckily we had made a reservation and we didn't have to wait- which I recommend that you do!! Their waits are two hours!!! I will DEFINITELY coming back!

Amazing food!
I have been frequenting Dinosaur BBQ's since 1999 in Syracuse. This one is as good as the original in the Cuse. The roast pork is moist and tasty. The salt potatoes, mac and cheese and garlic pickles are delicious. Also try the honey BBQ wings....best wings I hae ever had.....

Loved those bones!
My husband and I dined at Dinosaur this past Sunday afternoon on the recommendation of several individuals with whom I work. Being from Chicago, we know a thing or two about barbeque. Because we had heard such good things about this place, we were looking forward to treating ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! Everything - the drinks, the meal (generous portions of ribs, brisket and chicken coverd in tangy delicious lipsmacking sauce), and the dessert (which we took home and devoured) - was wonderful. The atmosphere was lively and our waiter anticipated our every need. We will be back!
