    Not recommended

If you can get a seat you're lucky . This is the typical herd mentality that new yorkers always partake in. Our food was lukewarm we waited over an hour for a seat and then the waitress gave us attitude about heating up our food.Go somewhere else even. This place is a hype fest the restaurant is cool looking though

    Went with friends

Went with 6 people + baby on a Friday night around 7:30. Got sat relatively quickly (maybe 30 min wait which aint bad for a Friday.) Pretty good service, good bar and beer selection. Big Ass Pork Plate was killer -- as were the fried green tomatoes, wings, and deviled eggs. The ribs however, were totally lame. A lot of food for the money and good $ value especially for NYC. Definitely good enough to go back for the BAPP.

    Best BBQ, hands down

A great mix of real BBQ styles from around the country. I have yet to try anything there that I didn't like. It's hard to beat the ribs, but do yourself a favor & get a platter with multiple kinds of meat so you can get a real taste for how good Dinosaur BBQ really is.

    A Diamond in the Ruff!

I heard about this place from my husband who's company had take out from there last week. We went there late Sunday night. It was a little wait for a table, but I really just wanted to get home. We got take out instead. The atmosphere is cute like Harpo's Junk Joint in The Color Purple. We got the Family meal for 5 - 7 people to share w/my parents. Loved every bite. I enjoy finding new places to eat and this is a good one! We drove all the way from White Plains, NY and I will definitely be going back to get a table next time. They also have entertainment sometimes.

    Salt Overdose...

We love the wings here but won't be back too often because the meats are so salty! The brisket is quite well done but ribs are usually dry... It's still a fun place to hang out with a group of friends who do not mind the crazy wait, slow service and salt overdose.

    Best BBQ In Manhattan

I'm a BBQ fan and this place is the best in Manhattan. The food is great and the prices are unbelievable. even if you figure in the cab rides to get there and back it's still a good deal. The atmosphere is fun and waiting isn't the worst thing in the world. We stood in the bar for a little while and had a couple beers which were about $4 each. Everyone there was very nice. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed, but it was a friday night and 100's of people wanted to eat there.

    A last time for everything

Saturday afternoon lunch -- food was served cold. Not even warm. It was inedible. They were nice about bringing a fresh plate but the damage had already been done. Also of note-- the server told me most of the food is premade, making it easier for the kitchen to just heat it and serve. Why would anyone want that? Won't be back, which is a disappointment.
