Great Stuff
The atmosphere is great. I love the decorating. its a great place to spend good fun filled family times, and the staff is AWESOME!

The best
I have been there with my family 4 times and it is a nice place to be. I loved it they staff makes you feel welcomed thank you for opening.

Best damn BBQ I've ever had
I called for a delivery, not only were they promptly on time, but it was the best smoky BBQ ever. the fried green tomatoes are out of this world, and the banana pudding is absolutely heavenly. to find such good food at such reasonable prices in this city is amazing. would definitey recommend to my friends.

Amazing
Excellent Food, Potatoe salad is real southern Potatoe Salad, Mac and Cheese is Amazing, Ribs are Tender, Cornbread delicious. This 100% better than the BBQ's newyorkers are use to. It's actually real food and a good variety. Prices are reasonable,inexpensive, no where near the $$$ that is listed on this website. Lots of food, Sure to leave out FULL. I have found a NEW favorite spot. ONE THING, make sure u make reservations or u will be waiting a long time. The food is Amazing so the crowds keep coming. But it's worth it A+

Need to improve
I had read the ratings and even though they were mixed I decided to try it out. The service was good but the ribs were tough and dry they were not tender at all. They only had two choices for potatoes I made the wrong one the potatoes were extemely buttery and they did not have enough side order choices it was either or. I was not pleased with the food at all. I would not recommend nor return.

Our treat place
Yes, you do need to make reservations if you want to go there. And make sure to call them a week in advance. But you won't regret it! It's absolutely delicious! Ribs and pork are gerat, all sides are worth trying and try their Root Beer - it's fantastic. We go their when we want to reward ourselves for something (graduation, new job) - it's tasty and it's fun!

Our Hostess was not the Mostess
On a beautiful Friday summer evening (8-4-2006), after saving lives at a local Bronx Hospital ER, three Professional ladies attempted to enjoy an after work social at the "World Famous Dinosaurs Restaurant." Arrival time: 7:55pm. We were informed that the wait will be 1 hour without reservations and we understood this. Due to the extreme large amount of people waiting inside and outside for a table, we ended up waiting almost two(2) hours. However, we decided to order take out when we heard our name called. It was already to late; we no longer wanted to be seated since we put our food order in. The young, unprofessional, inconsiderate hostess ubruptly dismissed us because we no longer wished to be seated. Her exact words were, (dripping with sarcasm) "Ohh...you don't want to sit...?" She rolled her eyes and spun on her heel heading back to the hostess booth. There was no apology given for the long wait and that really put an end to any future visits to your "World Famous Dinosaurs BBQ" restaurant. In the past, we have enjoyed ourselves at Dinosaurs many times and we are quite disappointed. Please properly train your staff in dealing with people when it is busy.
