Dinosaur Bar-B-Que

Went there for the first time last night. The wait for a table was about an hour, but the atmosphere was fun, and the wait staff was incredibly friendly and courteous, despite how busy they were on a saturday night. The bartender saw us waiting and offered us a couple seats that opened up at the very busy bar. Service was very good, and the food was incredible! Best corn bread I've ever had, and ribs... Perfect. The pork skirt sandwich and Mac and cheese side are a must-get. Absolutely satisfied with every aspect! Definitely recommend.

So I finally visited this restaurant yesterday. There was a 2 hour wait for a table so my friend and I decided to order take-out. Ok 45 mins later our food was ready, the mac & cheese and collard greens were absolutely pathetic. For a bbq place I expected the ribs and chicken to be top notch...it wasn't. The salmon flitters, a complete waste of money. After sampling almost half the menu the only decent thing was the brisket of beef sandwich which didn't come with much meat in it and perhaps the potato salad. My apologies if this criticism is harsh but after all the talk of this being such a great restaurant I was left with a half empty tummy and a plate full of supposively great food for the palate. Would I go back to this restaurant...hmm I don't know ..do you think I should give them a second chance?

It was a pleasant and abundant dinner. The meat was perfectly cooked and it felt like a real American BBQ dinner! The price was ridiculously low. A great experience! I'll come back for sure!

Went there for my birthday with family after the place was recommended by a friend. Waiting to be seated was not long. Waitress had an attitude. After our food was served waitress never came back to our table. Food was just lukewarm and very salty. Was not impress with the place or the food. Would not return.

This is a great restaurant. The food and the vibe is awesome. Now...when it comes to delivery - they are SPECIAL! Delivery was promised in 1 hour. Delivery showed up 2 and 1/2 hours after ordering...with 2 phone calls from me to BBQ, and a 15 min. promise from the restaurant. Delivery guy called when he arrived to ask me if I was coming downstairs? In Manhattan, you buzz up and go to the apartment, no one comes downstairs, not after 2 and 1/2 hours of time....if the order is even warm still, or even correct, why would anyone pay for delivery from a place that can't accommodate the customers who want their food. Please! If you like this spot, never get delivery! ugh.

We finally made the trip uptown to check this place out. Very cool atmosphere, just want you would expect in a BBQ place. The ribs were great. Nice well done bark with tender meat, just the right amount of sauce. Pulled pork and brisket were very good as were the mac & cheese and fries. Service was great. Will be back !

If you can get a seat you're lucky . This is the typical herd mentality that new yorkers always partake in. Our food was lukewarm we waited over an hour for a seat and then the waitress gave us attitude about heating up our food.Go somewhere else even. This place is a hype fest the restaurant is cool looking though
