Fried boneless chicken cracklings are the best!
Posted by Alex V. on 11/21/2008
This is one of those local spots that have been around for years. Most locals go there frequently and keep it to themselves. The Spanish food is why you should come visit. I find that if you like Spanish Style Steak, you will be in for a treat here. Also their boneless "Crackling Chicken" is legendary here. An absolute must try on your first go round. The portions are family sized so two could share a lot of the meals. Most people come here for the food not so much the atmosphere. On the chinese side, their sesame chicken is fantastic, and the house special fried rice is tasty. Can't comment on the other dishes because I am so satisfied with these that I keep going back for more of the same. Arroz con Calamari also excellent. The staff is efficent and friendly.

This place has the best food period. The fried pork chops, egg foo young, shredded beef and wonton soup are fantastic. The boneless fried chicken is the best chicken you will ever have in your life. I cant recommend this place enough.. Make sure the waiter writes your order down or be prepared to send it back.

Can't call yourself Latin if you dont have Pernil (roast pork) on menu. The chinese food is average.

To ESK - who orders general tso's chicken in a Latin/Chinese restaurant? You're probably they same guy ordering chinese roast pork at a diner! This place has the best pork chops and crackling chicken in Manhattan and the best prices. Fried wontons are amazing, as well as the spare ribs. And all of the portions are huge. One of the last values on the UWS!

After reading the reviews on this website I was convinced that Dinastia would have good food at a fair price. Dont be fooled. The food is very poor. I had the fried dumplings and generals tso's chicken. Both dishes were fine but defiantly not good. The sauce was thick and the chicken was not crispy. The atmosphere is not very friendly. Everything feels dirty and could really use a Gordon Ramsay overhaul. For one person the bill came to $16.00 + $4.00 tip. You can do much better in NYC with $20. Maybe the Latin food is better then the chinese but i don't think i will give them a second chance. The wait staff was very good about keeping the water glass filled which was the best part of the meal.
