    Best Latin fried pork chops

Been going here for years, mind you I live down the jersey shore. The dark fried rice is amazing and the fried boneless chicken is "finger lickin good" but the lemon deep fried pork chops are to die for! The staff always Remembers what we order and if we forget anything he adds it to the order. Very good food, the Latin food is why you should be eating there, however the Chinese is delicious as well.

    Neither fish nor fowl

No ambience and the food while fresh was neither chinese nor cuban. The shrimp w black bean sauce had fewer black beans than i have fingers on one hand literally 5 black beans and it was not a black bean sauce plus they dont serve sesame noodles & will not deliver 3/4 mi away, really?

    My favorite UWS place

The loma salteado is the best thing ever done with beef. Have tried many Chinese dishes, most were excellent. House wine not bad and very inexpensive. Host once remembered what we had weeks ago. Service is always good, presentation fine. We go there every year for Christmas supper. Delivery is prompt and reliable.

Don't order the chicken chow mein

So I ordered "Chicken Chow Mein" and they gave me some soup-like chicken with greens in a bowl with dry "wax noodles" on the side? I am more familiar with the yummy Chicken Chow Mein with Chow Mein noodles...well this is NOT it. Delivery was very fast but I was not happy with the so called Chicken Chow Mein. My BF got the General Tso's chicken and that was good (not spicy at all though?). Food was very hot when delivered. I would maybe order from here again only with clarification of what I'm ordering!

We've tried nearly every Chinese restaurant on the UWS, mostly with disappointing results. Food here was OK, prices upon pickup @ the restaurant were higher than posted so that never feels good. If you're out of options or looking to try a new takeout place, this is worth a shot, but don't get your hopes up to find the hidden gem in this spot.

    Great Cheap Eats

Ok.. So I've been going here for about 12 years... and I come about 2-4 times a year. I ONLY come for the boneless chicken crackling and any of the rice's. I've brought countless friends and family members and I will say this.. not everything off the menu is a success. The chicken cracklin and the beef with broccoli will keep me coming back for years to come.. but anything else I cannot (literally cannot, since I will not order it) recommend. Others have ordered the steak and beef stew, but didn't enjoy it too much. My mom loves the calamari.. and my sister will order beef with broccoli in the restaurant and another one to go because it is so good. This is a little hole in the wall restaurant.. but I've never had anything to complain about with their service. They are fast - even on a busy day.. and the main host always remembers my face... even if I haven't been there in a year. I love this place and will give it a 5 star just because they always knock it out the park with my favorite dish.

I went to this place 3 years ago and the food was excellent. I returned recently and found it to be a huge disappointment. The food was tasteless. I had the Cuban pork chunks, it should be garlicky' this meat had no taste and was of poor quality. My husband had the crackling chicken cutlets and they were tasteless. The fried rice was good and the ripe plantain was very good. We were extremely disappointed and will not return.
