good food, unsatisfied service
Have been going to Digby's for a couple weeks now...love the food, but ordered for the first time and they missed delivering one salad entirely!

Deli Style
I think my favorite thing about Digby’s is the sandwich bar. I can basically get a sandwich the way I like it, just like the old days when NYC had ‘real’ delis and not the pseudo delis you see all over the place. Here’s my fav – Turkey on rye, with coleslaw and Russian dressing with a half sour pickle...yummmmmm!

Service is poor
This place is trying to compete with Cafe Metro and Pret a Manger, but falls shorts in all respects (especially the service). Where Cafe Metro's staff is friendly and service is quick and both Cafe Metro's and Pret a Manager's food, which is similar but superior to Digby's by far for the same value. Nothing special about Digby's....the service, which is poor, was the determining factor for me!

Ambience good, food good, but service really poor.

food is ok, subpar delivery service!
Decent food, but the delivery service is not good. Don't order delivery, I have waited nearly 2 hours, without an apology. The food is NOT worth the wait.

Average Food, Inattentive Staff
Digby's is the type of place that could score points for convenience and pleasant service, as the food isn't anything that couldn't be found in 5 other places within the same block. Unfortunately, the service has really slipped. The personal touches and friendly smiles have been replaced by apathy and a lack of attention to detail. Good luck getting someone to actually take your order.

In Out and Great
One of my favorite things about Digby's, is that I can get in and out of there quickly. There food is at least a couple steps above some of the muckety-muck that is sold by 'other' cafes. Their selection is very tasty and creative. The sandwich bar specials and burrito specials are very cool. They actually steam the tortillas! I think the bread you get with the soup is hands-down the best in the hood. I would reccomend this place.
