Dig Inn Seasonal Market

It's the old Wendy's commercials all over again, "Where's the BEEF?" I've been coming here and to the West 56th location for a few years now. The portions got from pretty good to NON-EXISTENT! The large size calls for a double scoop of the sides, yet, none of the servers provide a double scoop. They judge you by your size in determining whether they will give you one scoop, one and a quarter or two--even though I clearly ordered the LARGE for a reason. And even when it's two, it's like a quarter-hearted scoop. The servers act like the food is coming from their personal refrigerator!! Otherwise, the food is pretty good. Some of the sides are better than others. The meats are ok. The chicken is bland.

Dig Inn used to be Pump, very health oriented food but not terribly tasty. The change-over has been great. I love the food here and am hooked on their spicy meatballs with tomato spiced brown rice and roasted brussels sprouts. And yeah, I get how not delicious that sounds, but it's really, really good. I buy it at least once a week, large plate size, with extra protein. This makes 2 lunches and a breakfast, to it's a pretty good value also. This is the only thing I've ever eaten from here, and see no reason to ever change. Regarding delivery, my experience has been fine. Sometimes the food comes a little earlier than I'd like (I actually pay attention to Seamless delivery estimates and order accordingly), but I've yet to wait past estimated time for anything. Could be when I order?

Don't be fooled by the delivery time on your order - it will take an hour for a salad.
