I ordered the takeout tonight, and I also found the pad thai to taste oddly smoky. Definitely not tasty. It was very dry, even by takeout standards. The appetizers were all bland, nothing to write home about.

great thai food in the neighborhood
we love Dice and order from them all the time. the veggie duck is fantastic. we also love their soup, especially if someone in the family is feeling under the weather -- the heat kicks it out. the chef is a really sweet and talented guy.

Great Thai restaurant
We order relatively frequently from Dice. The food are excellent and the delivery is fast. We have never experienced any problems and would recommend them.

Great Veggie Duck
Drunken noodle with veggie duck (not too spicy) rocks. I've had better curry, but it's decent. Best Thai in the neighborhood. Much better than fueng far. Everyone is very nice at the establishment; not much ambience but i usually order take out.

Great food, great price, BYOB, Lacking Service + Comfort
Me and my fiance just moved into town and are trying all the local eats and decided to give this place a try. She ordered the pad thai with fried duck which I did not enjoy; it was alright except that it really needed a stronger peanut butter flair. I had the Mango Duck which was an excellent choice! Full of flavor and giant portion but just a little over the top with an excess amount of fat. We sat next to the window because it was very hot in there. After 5 minutes the temperature cooled down and then after hearing the fan kick on it would get too hot again and this repeated throughout our dinner which was a little uncomfortable but was acceptable. The waitress was quick to seat us and place our order but disappeared for a long time while we waited for our check which was irritating being we were the only customers there. I would probably visit again if I try the take out option and the taste of the food is any different than dining at the restaurant.

Smoked Thai Food?
My roommate and I came upon this Thai restaurant right here, on menupages.com. I'm not much of a complainer and I most certainly have never sent food back... however, our food tasted smokey (as if they hadn't cleaned the grill). It was truly inedible. Perhaps this is not always the case, it could be a simple mistake, but I for one will not be ordering from there again.
