My friends and I love coming here. The food is excellent, especially the tuna taco and the staff is always friendly. The margarita's are amazing as well! Everone should come!!

I've been here 5 times since moving to the neighborhood. It's a safe go-to when you want to meet up with friends and enjoy decent mexican without breaking the bank. The atmosphere is always hopping and the blood orange margaritas are yummy!

The host was quick to greet and seat us. We sat there for 20 minutes before the waitress came over. She seemed annoyed because we asked the bus boy for margaritas...we would have asked her we knew she existed. The food was good, but it's super basic and kinda overpriced for what you get. We spent close to $200 only to be rushed off the table for another party by the host who couldn't have been more rude about it. There are better Mexican restaurants in NYC, especially in that area.

Lackluster in a lackluster setting. food was bland, portions were small, and arrived cold. The ambiance is a bit off; arrogant waitstaff but the scene isn't trendy enough nor the food good enough to warrant such behavior. I wonder if this restaurant is struggling to get by because as someone who lives in the neighborhood, I definitely would not go back after you've been once.

Somewhere in between trying to be an upscale Dos Caminos and the hudson ave low key mexican joints, is Diablo Royale. Great margaritas and salsa, but each of the way over priced dishes lacks something and I have a hunch that it is any truly Mexican inspiration. This joint is not worth the money and won't satisfy your Mexican craving....go for a drink and enjoy the complimentary salsa and chips.

We originally made reservations for a different restaurant, but when they were closed due to a power outage, we decided to find something else and stumbled upon Diablo Royale. The decor is definitely cute. The enchilada was pretty good It seemed like everyone there was having a good time there -- sometimes too much. But overall a good dinner.

The food and the decor are fun. The service is laughably poor. I won't go back.
