Agree with 2nd to last comment

I agree with Mr. Village Idot in 2nd to last comment. Yummy margs, food not so much. Cool vibe especially in the summer. High prices for what you get. So,,,,Go for drinks not food.

Glad I took a second chance!

I went here with some friends when it first opened and it was just okay. The food tried too hard (upscale Mexican?)and the waitress was one of those I'll-just-sit-in-your-lap-because-we're-best-friends types. Way too familiar! I never went back because she was so nnoying - until brunch last Sunday - and it was great! Delicious huevos rancheros and all you can drink sangria for $18! I'm glad I gave it another try! And no sign of the annoying waitress! Why wait at Extra Virgin for brunch when there's no lines here? Really good.

Drinks, yes. Food? Not so much.

The waitstaff is nice, the place has a cool vibe, and the drinks are great, but god help me, the food is disappointing. For the amount of money a dinner costs at this place, it's just not worth it.

    Bad Take-Out

I ordered take out from this restaurant because some friends told me it was good. I'm from Texas, so I know good Mexican food, and this wasn't it. The guacamole was fantastic but everything else was overpriced and overrated. Perhaps it was because I got delivery, but when my food arrived (it took over an hour) it was soggy and almost inedible, complete waste of money.

    This is not neighborhood freindly

I think this place is cute and has a fun after work vibe but the food is horribly over-priced for what it is. It would be what you could expect if you were getting tacos from Disneyland inauthentic and very expensive. That being said I'm very picky about Mexican food b/c I am from San Diego. I also think the management has been very rude to some of the locals and I am not inclined to patronize this business. There are plenty of great restaurants with great food and ambiance just around the corner so why settle for mediocre?

    I had a great time!

My boyfriend and I happened upon this restaurant last night and we had an extremely good time. We were seated right away and our server was wonderful. She gave great recommendations on the drinks. We had white sangria, which was delicious and a drink called "the ricky", which is a mix of frozen margarita on the bottom and dos equis beer- I suggest skipping dessert and getting a Ricky instead! For dinner, my boyfriend had the chipotle burger, which he loved and I had a shrimp quesadilla. We also split the grilled corn appetizer- go for it! It rocked. Overall, we both loved it and plan on bringing friends back again and again.

    Pleasantly Surprised for NYE

Was there just the other night - even on New Years with a packed house I think the service was good, drinks strong, and food great. Had the shrimp enchiladas which were yummy and not too big/heavy - this is the kind of mexican place you'll feel fine after eating. Try it!
