Excellent but expensive
I have primarily had their food delivered. It is always excellent and properly spiced. However, it is on the expensive side. They always upsell away from the lunch special (cheaper, more variety, but smaller portions) toward the full order (much more expensive, no variety and big portions).

Incredible Indian food
I have been to Dhaba numerous times and enjoyed each visit. Today, we went for the buffet lunch, which is without a doubt worth $10. With a selection of vegetable dishes, lamb, and chicken, each customer will be satisfied. Fresh naan and tasty tandoori chicken brought to each table is indeed a treat. The servers are sweet, always smiling and tend to you quickly. The venue is clean and very modern in decor. Enjoy!

Not recommended
We ordered food and asked how long it would be. They said 30 min. An hour later we still had no food, so we called to ask the status of our food and they said it was on its way. 30 min later (1.5 hours after we ordered) we called again to check on the food, since it had not come. Again they said it was on the way. At this point we asked them to call the delivery guy and find out how much longer it would be. They finally called us back and told us, the food HAD NOT EVEN BEEN MADE YET. We will never order from here again.

Pleasantly Surprised
This was the first Indian lunch buffet I've ever tried in Curry Hill, and I thought it was awesome. I only eat this sort of food about once a month, so I'm far from an expert. But everything tasted great, the price was right, and my stomach felt fine afterward. On top of that, the place was nice and comfortable and the service was perfect. What more can you ask for?

Must try / chicken tikka masala lives up to reputation
Pros: Excellent wait staff. We had to wait for 30 minutes and they gave my son a mango lassi and gave us a complimentary snack. We were seated in a comfortable booth and had a great setting for a late evening meal. I had the recommended Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was fabulous. My wife had the Paneer Masala and it was great to share. She enjoyed a mango martini and I had a large, tasty King Fisher. Cons: Little bit crowded and cramped to get around. Also, some reviews say its family oriented and it may be, not after 8pm when we made our way there. Bottom Line: Some of the best Indian food I have every had. Great wait staff. Really cool place. Have the Chicken Tikka Masala!!!

Great for Lunch AND Dinner
For my money, the lunch buffet at Dhaba is one of the great bargains in the city. $10 buys you all the curry you can eat, with a nice choice of meat, chicken, and vegetable dishes, plus gulab jamen for dessert. The meat is uniformly tender, and the sauces flavorful. Then I finally had dinner here the other night -- and my friends and I had a fantastic meal. They raved about it! Two things to keep in mind: the menu is extensive, so don't overlook the British section, where you will find your favorite curries (Rogan Josh, Vindaloo, etc.), which you can pair up with your choice of meat or vegetable (light chicken, dark chicken, lamb, etc.) I had a curry I had never had before, its spiciness denoted by one pepper -- it was HOT! Vindaloo has two peppers, and another one had three -- these would NOT be for the weak of stomach! The second thing to keep in mind: the name of the restaurant -- I could never remember it, until I thought of -- Fred Flintstone. Yabba DHABA Do! This place has surpassed both Curry Leaf and Copper Chimney in my estimation of the best restaurants in Indian Row. Highly recommended...
