We go to Destino's regularly and love it. The people are attentive and friendly and the food is great. We took a friend who is a foody there and he loved it and returns with my husband often. Great drinks.

I actually really like this place however its a hit or miss with some dishes. The salads are great, the appetizers are good (esp the mozzerella and of course their meatballs)... but the entrees are the problem. First none of the entrees come with pasta. How do you not have chix parm w/o pasta?! And for a side of pasta it's another $14! My bf and I always get the chicken parm and it's delicious with the side of pasta (which sometimes they give us for half the price since we want a "side" of it). However, I have ordered other things on the menu like their roasted chicken and I was UNIMPRESSED! It was about 6 chicken wings that were "roasted" (I think). They were not good at all. First they should not have chicken wings and say it as if it's a roasted chicken like one piece of meat with a bone (which is what I thought it was)... random pieces of little chicken wings is NOT what it said. They should just take it off the menu b/c if I went their once and got this I would never go back! They should have 1-2 healthier items on the menu which is why I got the roasted chick (wings). Perhaps they need a grilled chicken type dish... I would just stick to the staple item like meatballs and chix parm. I do agree their prices are slightly steep considering the food is not always 100% amazing. I will say the atmosphere is nice. The service is great. It's really relaxing and you aren't rushed out. I like this.

Chicken Parm, medium-small portion $21. - So-so Salad $10. - With tax and tip $40. with NO Drink.- Huh! - Add a glass of wine and you just paid $55 for good pizzeria food.

the big problem here is the very poor service- dinner is a long affair with really slow service- we were sent in the mail a coupon for 25% off of our meal from Destino but when we gave it to them we were told that they would not accept it because we ordered the restaurant week menu, ignoring the fact that much of our bill was for drinks .The little we saved on the restaurant week menu was not as much as the 25% off from the coupon promotion. Our advice is if you don't want to honor coupons then don't send them to people. Instead of trying to make us new customers we were all turned off and i was embarrased in front of the group of friends i had invited, and none of us will ever go back. The food was just average and overall was not a good experience

My husband went to dinner there this past Saturday and i experienced the worst service ever. I have lived in NYC my entire life and was shocked to see how disorganized the waitstaff was. From the time we were seated, it took us 45 minutes to receive a menu. It wasn't until my husband flagged down one of the bus boys to request one. Throughout our night we never even met our waitress. It took us another half an hr just to order a bottle of wine (which we asked the bus boy to take our wine order). he called the manager over and he took our wine order. after getting our wine it took us another 35 mins. we flagged down another bus boy who had to call the host who had to call the manager to take our order. It was totally insane! It turned into a 3 hour ordeal. Our waitress had the nerve to come around as we were paying the bill to ask us how everything was. The food was so average it was such a waste of time and money.

Good food , caring service Very pleasant atmosphere . Looking forward to going back .
