Mom-&-Pop Dessert Bar & More
I cherish this dessert spot so much that I continue to frequent it, even after my move 6 months ago to "trendy" Fort Greene. The flourless chocolate cookies are my favorite, and these cookies soon will become even more welcoming because I will be starting a gluten-free diet in 2 weeks, after Passover. I highly recommend their sandwiches, both breakfast & lunch/dinner, & their other non-dessert foods, too. As the weather gets warmer, I'll be switching from NYC's best hot chocolate (which can be made with soy milk) to NYC's best chocolate milkshakes, made with delicious homemade ice cream. I'm thankful that I can support a local family that took the risk to start this business at the beginning of gentrification. They seem to enjoy the cultural and socioeconomic diversity offered in the Bed-Stuy, Clinton Hill, & Fort Greene neighborhoods.

Good!
Egg sandwiches are very tasty and a great deal! Lunch sandwiches are great too. And they are very nice in there

Love at first, second & third bite.
I discovered this place by happy accident and can't wait to rediscover it again. Everything I tried there was absolutely delicious.

Best Desserts in the Neighborhood
I moved to the neighborhood recently and was happy to find this place. I've tried several baked goods and have never been disappointed. Love the chocolate chip cookies and the fruit tarts, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. Also, the family-run place is a great neighborhood business to support, besides the fact that Michael Allen is a talented baker who puts love and effort into the baking!

Lovely little bakery
Delicious baked goods, well made coffee and wonderful owners who are always smiling and pleasant. Michael Allen and his family have brought a much needed spot to pick up a baguette or breakfast croissant to that stretch of Fulton St. Highly recommended!

great coffee/dessert spot
This is a great little place in Clinton Hill. Really delicious desserts (really, really delicious), good paninis and quiches and breads, and good coffee/espresso drinks at great prices. Michael and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The space is small - it has a cozy, homey, laid-back, friendly feel. I like supporting local businesses, and this one is totally worth it. Check it out, especially if you like homemade desserts (which you can watch Michael make right there).
