I attempted to order food from this truck at the Food Truck Fest on Governors Island. Sure the place was busy, but this line moved at a snails pace and they didn't have the courtesy to warn everyone that food was running out. After waiting for nearly two hours in the heat, I'm about to go up and order with just one woman in front of me. They officially ran out of food. Why didn't they say something 5 minutes, 10 minutes or 30 minutes prior?? Is this really how you expect to run a business? Isn't the point of these festivals to draw in more customers and expose New Yorkers to something new. All I got were hunger pangs. A truck that refuses to treat potential customers with respect, as this truck did not, is a no-go for me. The guy just giggled and smiles like it was funny that I was hungry and not able to get food. Seriously dude - grow up and get yourself a new profession.
