overpriced
The new menu is much more expensive and the fixed price dinner is more expensive and the applicable hours are shorter. As to the service, it was generally good, except when we asked if salads were included with the entrees, the waiter said yes and then denied it. He said he thought we meant the fixed price- we missed the fixed price because of the hours change and he knew it! We ordered the lamb chops which were each about 2 ounces of meat (the serving is three chops). With the side dishes, there was no more than 8 ounces of food on the plate. No rice, or any other starch. We were all hungry after eating. Dervish used to be a wonderful turkish restaurant ( not a new chef's version of haute cuisine).

Change... No Change
I eat Rock Center area restaurants everyday. I was excited to find Dervish, as the food was delicious and they are right around the corner from my office. Unfortunately, every time I order there is some problem. It either arrives up to an hour and a half late, is missing some portion of my order, is a different price than previous times, or and this one really gets me... The delivery guy does not have change for a 20... this happened twice. When I’ve brought this to the attention of the management, they laughed and said it would not happen again, but sure enough it did! All I can say is the food is good... but do yourself a favor, walk downstairs to the halal cart save your self the money and the headache.

Try the lamb
Best lamb ever had, their meat platter is so delicious. Great atmosphere, if you love football (soccer) definetly a place to hang to watch the Champions leagues games, specially if a turkish team is playing.

Good atmosphere but...
that's all this place has to offer. My wife and I usually love Turkish food but we had such a poor experience here, we can't recommend it. The food was overpriced. We follow a halal diet, (kosher) but with this place we couldn't make sure. There are a lot of other Turkish restaurants out there, and this was not worth the cost or time (service is very slow)

Poor Value
we ordered the swordfish for lunch and only recieved 3 pieces of fish. The arugula salad lacked arugula and the eggplant barely had any eggplant in it. If you order, stick to the basics because the chicken kebab was decent. If you enjoy being robbed on small portions of food, this place is for you.

never again
I pass this place all the time and it seams to be crowded so figured it must be good. Boy was I wrong. Me and my my two companions were all unhappy with our [select]ions. Actually, I did not like my dish, finger ravioli. It was swimming in oil . My ffriend ordered the chicken shishkabob w/rice pilaf but it was not rice pilaf rather plain rice with a few chickpeas thrown in. We almost asked for our money back it was so bad. Also the baklava was mlnute considering the price.
