Really great spot!
My husband and I decided to try out der kommissar last night on a whim. We sat at the bar and had a laugh that the barstools were just like the ones in our old art school- and just as comfy! The bartender was chill and attentive, and I got one of the best beers I've ever had. My husband doesn't drink, and our bartender kept his glass full of club soda the whole dinner. I am so happy that they had vegetarian sausages, and they were delicious. I'm quite sure their meat would have been amazing too. The special got us three sausages with a bunch of sides and don't skip the pretzel and cheese spread, it's amazing. I loved everything from the food, the sauces, the bar, the paintings on the walls and the slow mosaic of beer bottle caps taking shape. this place is fun and endearing. I have nothing bad to say. Go there!! You will love it too.

Best sausage I've ever had
Only been in once but definitely planning to go back. Tried a few different sausages, some stuffed with cheese and they were amazing! They have vegan and vegetarian sausage too. Nice beer selection. Bartender was friendly, we sat at the bar.
