Deluxe

Deluxe is a resturaunt with excellent food, even if it takes a little while for it to come. (Especially if you are ordering in) There delivery service is poor, and its resturaunt service isn't much better. It is located in a pleasant neighborhood where citing outside can be great on a summers evening and it is never empty, meaning it always has a vibrant atmosphere. I would encourage anyone to go there.

Been to this place many times and never left hungry or disappointed. Great service.

I love this place & I go there all the time. The staff is always very friendly and cool. They're down to earth and you can tell they have fun with their job. The food is excellent! The burgers are by far better than anywhere else around and the BLT is the best I've EVER had! The Brunch is fantastic although it is rediculously crowded and is way Underpriced! You can get Coffee Juice Eggs Bacon Potatoes for under $8. Lunch and dinner are very inexpensive too. Easy to eat with two people for under $25. The Mojitos there are also excellent along with the Espresso Martini and Key Lime Twist. Their virtually famous for their milk shakes and the Hot Chocolate Brownie is too die for! Although it may take more than one person to eat it its so huge! It's always very busy, hip and happening place with quite the variety in Music. If you go to Columbia or live on the UWS you MUST go here! Although I wouldnt always recommend it for the elderly type unless you don't mind the crowd and high volume. The bartenders there are really cool and will always talk to you, when they have time that is, and the outside seating is wonderful!

I just moved to the area and Deluxe quickly became one of my favorite places for brunch or a nice diner-y lunch or dinner. The tables are crowded, but the staff has been quick and friendly when I've gone there. The fries have always been absolutely delicious too. One night I was feeling extra lazy and decided to order delivery- what a mistake!! I actually live exactly one block away from the restaurant, and my food arrived 45 minutes after I placed the order, cold, soggy and a complete mess. I know that delivery is never as good as in-person, but my food looked and tasted like it had been dipped into a bucket of cold water. I will never order delivery from Deluxe again!!

This place has been one of the my favourite places for brunch for at least five years now. The Huevos Rancheros are great and they do a mean French toast, but things have changed! The waitstaff is what I would call pathetic (except the hostess...she is the one bright, shining spot in this place...the one who always seems to be kind). Mixups on bills have happened the last 3 times I have gone (in the favour of the restaurant) and there was no apology for the problem. I never receive water anymore without having to pester the waiter/tress at least 3 times. The worst thing though...that makes me walk right past to West Way Cafe in the morning is the atmosphere. This place has far far far too many tables crammed into an area. If you go with two people you end up sitting in another groups lap basically. You get to hear all of their conversation and vice versa. It ruins the meal for me and leads to you having to scream at each other to have a conversation. Of course, maybe you wouldn't have to if they weren't playing crappy pop music about 30 decibals higher than appropriate.

They offer decent brunch options, but their delivery service is dissatisfying, to say the least. I recently made a simple order that they said would take 40-45 minutes. One hour later, my stomach is grumbling, and the delivery guy still hasn't called. So I call up Deluxe to figure out what's upthe woman who took my order apparently wrote down my phone number incorrectly. Ugh. They eventually delivered the food, but it was cold and gross. They didn't even bother to reheat is for me. Never again....

Went recently for brunch - the long line and nice looking menu options made it seem like a find, but it was very disappointing! The service was absent - so there was no one to tell that my eggs were uncooked and that my goat cheese omelette was lacking in goat cheese. The food was so mediocre - nothing unique or flavorful to be found. Heavily fried and flavorless homefries with poorly cooked eggs and dry bread.
