    Food a disappointment

Delta Grill, very cute place, nicely decorated but the food was a mishap. Oysters Rockefeller...this had creamed spinach with like a velvetta cheese spread, not the fresh oyster rockefeller I'm used to. Fried Chicken was very dry, sad to say, I wouldnt recommend this for authentic cajun food...

    Not even close

I suppose if you have NEVER eaten BBQ or been to the south, this might suffice. Having grown up in Texas, I know good BBQ/southern cooking and this ain't it kids. I got the Chicken Fried Steak, which was fair at best. Just not a good quality piece of meat to begin with. My date got the pulled pork (only after first receiving the wrong order) and it was terrible. Northeasterns just don't "get" BBQ. It's not about the sauce, it's about the meat. Cooking a piece of pork and slathering it in sauce does NOT BBQ make. It's about how it is cooked and SMOKED. For $17 or $18 an entree, surely there is better in NY.

    Not Good

Everyting is moderately good in comparison with real cajun food in the south and even with other cajun restaurants in New York. The shrimp is undercooked, fried chicken- eh... Not to mention the fact that Delta is way overpriced. Spending $22 for mediocre food- not a great way to spend a night.

    Too Much Going On

Great Mac & Cheese, great food in general. Everyone tries to please. They just need to place the entertainment in a soundproof lounge just for music & band lovers. I have taken many Southern guests here. Quite a critical bunch...and they raved, raved, raved. I hear they do alligator...but, I guess I will just a plain Yankee boy..and stick with my tried and true!

    Good jambalaya

I been here twice and the jambalaya served in the kettle with cornbread and jalapeno muffin is terrific. At 22 bucks for the food and one beer it is a little pricey

Made me wanna smack my mamma

I went to Delta Grill with my wife and another couple-after a broadway show. The food is great. I had the stuffed flounder. Oh my goodness-that's all I gotta say. I'm going back tomorrow. We're going to a show. And then to the Grill :-)
