We ate at Delmonico's Thursday night, Sept. 29th. The drinks were great (wonderful martini), wine list very good, and the steaks were tender and perfectly cooked. Our overall dining experience was fantastic. We will definitely return. And we are tourists from Alabama!

I've been to every famous steakhouse in the city and Delmonico's is the best. The restaurant exudes class as well as excellent quality in everything from the food to the service.

I had the smallest steak and it was not tasty at all. Moreover, service was not very good. Perhaps it was due to Downtown For Dinner Week. But this does not give them a right to be rude. Not recommended for restaurant week.

This restaurant is a NYC landmark that does not rest on its laurels or take anything for granted. Here you will find simply top notch service in the form of both bar and wait staff who do what they do with pride and precision, without attitude and with plenty of warmth and good humor. The food is consistently great and the atmosphere is truly one-of-a-kind with a restaurant space that feels like you've stepped back in time and an adjoining cozy bar that thrums with Wall Street types after work and mellows into a friendly "regular" scene later on.

This steakhouse is definitely one of the best in New York and can undoubtedly compete with its neighbors at Mark Joseph. The atmoshpere is incredible, almost as if you gone back to the early 1900s during the Diamond Jim Brady period. I has a lot of history and did I mention the steaks are phenomenal. It has class and great food...everything you can ask from a steakhouse.
