    Lunch Regular

Great soup, good staff but please throw away your old crackers and give accurate change. Two or three times this year my change has been short a nickel or a dime. Hey with time, it all adds up. I'm a paying customer and not ok with charitable donations. Beware of some of the crackers, some are good, some are old, go for the bread if you aren't a risk taker.

Best soup in the entire area. Keeps me coming back.

    Drastic Change

Things must have changed drastically for the better. The staff is friendly, the manager is great. Variety can't be beat. I'm there every day (take out) -- the value is great.

    Half price Buffet

They have a huge variety of tasty choices on their self-serve buffet tables. Very reasonably priced for the area. And if you wait til 4pm their Buffet is only $3.75/lb!

    Tasteless pastrami

I was disapointed in the the Pastrami and Swiss Cheese Hero that I purchased. The pastrami was sliced too thick and was tasteless. I could have gone to to a chain restaurant for the same tasteless sandwich for a lot less.

    He greets everyone! Wonderful place!

I am not one to spend too much money on breakfast and lunch in the city but when I do, I go to Delmonico's. The manager is very freindly and so is the staff. I've worked in the service industry in the past and know, service with a smile is everything. The food is always fresh and very tasty. The staff are helpful and look like they enjoy their working environment. Not too mention, the owner/manager greets just about every customer who comes into his place. Talk about service with a smile. Whether the food was good or not, you would want to go back there but its an added bonus when the service and food to great! Most other deli's I go too the staff are grouchy so you know your food ain't gettign no love. Well I hope this review helps. Delmonico's is definately worth checking out.

    I'm there every morning

Mostly I'm there at breakfast. I love their bagels (the best in the neighborhood, and I'm a bit of a maven), and frankly, their 'guys' are just awesome. The guys behind the breakfast counter can make or break the whole thing for me, and these folks are awesome. But I've just been turned onto their udon/ramen soups, and it may be my next obsession.
