    Horrible Service and Extremely Overpriced

I go to this deli out of convenience (my office is in the same building). Yes, they have a great variety of food, but it doesn't compensate for the extremely high prices and the rude service. The cashiers treat customers as the biggest annoyance. Although I am a regular there, they try to overcharge me for my espresso on a regular basis. I guess they benefit from the fact that there is no other deli on the same block. I would not recommend it at all, unless you want to be yelled at.

    Not impressed anymore

I get breakfast from here a lot before work and I went and got lunch one day and because of that I will not go back. I ordered a curry chicken salad sandwich from the counter (left side of the deli) and they informed me they were out on that side, so I had to go to the other side. So I did, and ordered my sandwich and then was charged extra on the other side. I said something and they said that side was 'gourmet'. The same sandwich was on the other side for 2 dollars less. Its a dumb difference but enough where I think I'll be finding a new deli. Food is overpriced as it is..

    Nice Diversity

There is a great selections b/t the hot food bar, salad/friut bar, sandwich, suishi, soups, etc. Food is mostly tasty, only its also a bit too salty. The food bars all look fresh and tastes fresh. If it were not for the saltiness, I'd go more often.

    Staff at the registers

I used to eat here just about EVERY DAY till I had a very rude woman at the register NOT allowing me to pay with a credit card unless I charged $8 minimum. This is ILLEGAL to charge a minimum and now I refuse to go back there since she caused such a scene yelling at me in front of people and wouldn't even apologize. Luckily in NYC there are several other places to eat just like this one.

    Awesome selection

6.99 a pound for buffet - all the salads - very fresh consistent seafood - not much sittting room. Fresh salmon fillet and small sushi selection at the buffet . Plenty of drinks sandwich counters - weak on baked goods - most of the stuff is a little too oily. But they also have some packaged kosher stuff.

    Great Place, Great Location!

I love this place! Its a great place for a quick bite to eat, yet versatile enough for most of my random daily needs, ranging from toilet paper to canned soup. The only reliable 24-hour store around the area.

    I like this place.

This is probably the only trustworthy place in New York City where you can find sophisticated food and simple condiments under one roof.
