One of the Better pizza spots
The pizza here is great, although I've noticed that the sauce tends to change in taste from time to time. I'm all about the sauce, so i notice things like that. This happens at all the best places, but it's enough to throw me for a loop, especially when I come in expecting a great slice and get a good one. Everything in Delizia is solid. The heros are great too and sometimes the specials can be outstanding! Still, it's a pizza joint, and it's about as good as it can get, but like I said... Recommended.

Great neighborhood place
It is our favorite place for a casusal meal with kids. The staff is attentive and lovely - and can make the dining experience a real pleasure. We have loved the food and the experience - which is significantly nicer than any other local pizzeria

Consistently very good
My family has been going to this place it seems forever. I was recommending it one night to my brother who lived in the area in the 80's and he agreed since he used to eat here back then. It was very good then and is very good now. A humble pizzeria with a quaint back room the reasonably priced food will surprise you with its favor and quality. It makes you question why you would want to go to any of the other overpriced places in the area except that they are likely to have a menu that goes beyond the traditional pizzeria menu of this place. It is usually busy at dinner time and then the one waiter in the back gets overwhelmed and the service a bit slow. I've always been happy with the meal and I can't tell you how many times I've been there in three years.

Low Priced Specials in Nice Room
New to the area (UES) and was strolling with my lady trying to find a Rest. that was not ridiculously priced. This Place was a great find ate with tip for $30 and had a nice italian meal with three waiters for a room with 10 tables, the service was immediate. I have certainly enjoyed Italian Rest. in Little Italy less then I enjoyed this....Get the special its great.

Great Pizza
I lived on East 73rd Street for ten years before moving to Texas in 1994. Back in New York this summer with my Texas-born daughters, I returned to Delizia. It was still as good as I remembered. Great to be in New York again, if only for a short visit, and great to visit Delizia again. Still terrific!

Gross
Maybe the pizza is good, I dunno. The soup I ordered was basically water and grease with old tortellini in it. No taste whatsoever. No exaggeration, literally tasteless. How do people get away with this?

best pizza on the ues
i've lived on the upper east side my whole life and no other pizzeria can compare to the slices here. Even the rest of the food chicken parmigan and the veal marsala are so on point that it's a steal for the prices they offer these items at. If you haven't eaten or ordered from here do it you won't regret it.
