    Great Comfort Food

I recently came here with some girlfriends for dinner. We were all very happy with everything. The drinks were strong and good. Our waitress wasn't on top of everything but she was pleasant. We had a variety of appetizers which were all amazing. Most of us had the fried chicken for our entree which was fab. We were too full to have dessert but the list look amazing. It's a good value for good comfort food. The atmosphere is very nice too. I would return.

    Very good burgers

Have had several delivery cheeseburgers, and they've all been excellent. Very good beef, fresh lettuce, onion, tomato, and excellent bacon that isn't cooked to within an inch of its life. But the beef really stands out, very tasty, and not over-cooked. Nice packaging and good delivery times.

Best in SOHO both Food and Atmoshere!

My husband and I go to Delicatessen at least once a week and order dinner for delivery at least 2 times a week. The food is consistently excellent and the range of their menu appeals to me (a health conscious dieter) and my husband who isn’t so much. We often go for lunch and spend 2 hours there people watching and enjoying the scene.

"Kid Friendly", but don't be scared...

I would highly recommend Delicatessen as the "grown up" version of it's sister restaurant "Cafeteria". I recently enjoyed brunch there with my wife, a friend, and our (less than one-year-old) twins. The staff was incredibly attentive, exceedingly helpful, and welcomed us back - plus invited us to visit them again soon. The food was great, ambiance enjoyable. We aren't big on "kid friendly" restaurants... so don't be scared by that statement, but they were kind to us and happy to see our kids. This place is good fun and the openness makes it enjoyable for all.

    Stick to the basics

My friends and I came here and ordered a bunch of appetizers as those looked the most appealing of the whole menu. Of everything we ordered, the mac n cheese, cheeseburger spring rolls and spinach artichoke dip were by far the best. Don't bother getting fancy with your orders here, just stick to the basics and you will be more than satisfied.

    Delicatessen

Went to check out delicatessen the other day. It's got an excellent location right on the corner of Lafayette and prince. It was a sunny day out, and the entire restaurant is open. The food was really good, I had the chinoise salad which was excellent. I'm gonna come back for more.

    Not Impressed.

Other than the fish tacos and the nice atmosphere, this place is a total waste of time. I usually like to ask the waiters what they recommend, and this waiter seemed pretty clueless. Perhaps it was just the one, but somehow I doubt it.
